The "Does Jesus have a skateboard?" outreach programme caused quite a stir when it was launched.

The message was a thought provoking one, and asked the perhaps unusual question...
"Does Jesus have a skateboard?"

Our minister Reverend James Cochrane, had to do quite a bit of skateboard practice before the launch!

Rev. Cochrane said, There is a serious side to it because we want to show youngsters that Jesus is with them everywhere they go.

The minister also added, If Christ was born today, I'm sure he would be on his skate-board with the rest of the kids.

Since it is our belief that Jesus is with us in our daily lives and activities, it seemed unfair to exclude him from our pleasures and sports or, in this case extreme sports activities.

So, we believe the answer is 'YES' he does!

The message on the bottom of the skate-board reads, "You are better than me" This reminds us that no matter how great and skilled we think we are, God is greater and All gifts are God given.

The programme is still running and if you would like more information, please contact us. This offer is not exclusive to skateboarders.
